DJ Tranceparent is a trance and progressive house DJ based in San Francisco. He got interested in electronic dance music in 2001 after seeing Paul Van Dyk mixing at the legendary 1015 Folsom Street for New Year's. He got his first turntables and started his love for the music at an all consuming rate.

Tranceparent made the move out of the bedroom in 2006, playing local Bay Area clubs such as Bambuddha Lounge, Lot 46, Club Mighty, and in 2008 opened for DJ Roger Shah. He then started his Uplifted Podcast series in 2011, playing his favorite trance and progressive house tunes there weekly. He now plays on Party107.com's Progressive Transmission show every other Wednesday of the month from 8:00 - 10:00 PM EST.
