First off for those that are not sure of what I’m talking about.

Quick Mixing or also known as Power Mixing plainly mixing the next song really fast.
Such as like…every minute there’s a new song playing.

I enjoy doing this at my home from time to time, it helps with practicing.

Other than that, To listen to a mix in your car or house.  No (I don’t like it)
I’d rather hear the music that’s being played.   “All the way”

But at a Rave/Party,  if done right.  It could just be the best set you have ever heard.

Mainly I don’t like it cause If somebody is enjoying the song being played,  Quick Mix ------>>>>>>Boom/cross fade,  It’s over.  No more song that you liked.

I say Play the Music, that’s what it’s there for.

A lot of people that enjoy this quick mix style think that the old, mix the song at the end of the track is Skills that any DJ can do.   I BEG TO DIFFER.

What Do YOU guys think?   VOTE

Hm... i actualy like slow mixing more to, because fast mixing reminds me of some pop-dj's with albums that have uhm... ~40+ songs in it and you can't listen to a track you love, it doesn't "suck" you in in this short time, that sucks. Anyways, there IS one album, fast mixed, that i love: Fuse Presents Technasia. It has 38 tracks in it, but DAMN it sounds smooth, altho it's techno and i'm sure it would suck if it would be trance.
yes.

Bad Boy Bill

can quick mix really good.  If you like Bangin House.

I'm still waiting to see if somebody can pull off Trance Quick Mixing.  Maybe it will be me, haha

I want to hear the whole passion in a track... there's a reason why a track is long ;)
I'm a Fan, DJ, and Producer! Just in that order =)

Well, there's no big "passion" in techno tracks, cause there are no fillers/breakdowns in 'em, they just contiune the same beat all over the song in most song, so you can mix them fast, but in trance, it's totaly diffrent, so you can't.
yes.

I like the way you guys think.

So many people like from my neck of the woods think playing out a whole song is boring.  But then again we like everything in the bay.   Not just Trance.
