This weeks guestmix comes from a young producer/dj from Russia! "Vadim Zhukov" exclusive for Nordic Moments.

Vadim Zhukov was born on 27th of March 1986 in Nizhnevartovsk, Russia. When he was just 7 he started taking piano lessons. At the age of 11 he started to discover electronic dance music. A few years later after he moved to Moscow, where he listened several Russian DJs mixing on a dance radio station called 'Station 2000'.

When he turned 15 he started to make his own music. In early 2004 he wrote a track called 'Silver Star', which Above & Beyond marked as 'Unsung Hero' in their 'Trance Around the World' show on Ministry of Sound Radio.

This weeks guestmix comes from a young talanted DJ and upcoming producer "Niklas Harding" exclusive for Nordic Moments.

 Niklas Harding saw the daylight the 4th August 1985. Born and raised in Copenhagen - Denmark. His interest for electronical music was prompted by the "Magik" album series in an early age. Dj Tiësto showed all the beauty inside the music with those releases, and Niklas became addicted on the spot! After his best friend taught him the basic skills of turntablism, he started to spin himself on several internet radio stations. And developed his music skills and knowledge throughout the years that passed by.

Having a tiny producer growing inside, Niklas really started to get into the production side of things in late 2004. Working on everything from house to progressive, trance and techno, his musical horizon is getting bigger every single day. His music can’t be described in words, it has to be felt and listened to through every sense in your body. Teaming up with his good mate Anders Mikkelsen on the productions, their track Blue Circles already got played by Armin Van Buuren, Above&Beyond, Agnelli&Nelson and Markus Schulz. And the follow up named Ice Beach got played as Tune of The Week and voted Future Favourite at the A State Of Trance radio show, this track already got predicted to be one of the hits in 2006. Remixing names like: Blank&Jones and Leama&Moor, and having remixes for labels like Blackhole, Lost Language and Armada. So be sure to expect more storming productions by this rising duo.

As a dj, Niklas likes to build up his sets in order to tell the audience a unique story of music - from banging house and progressive tunes to melodic trance tracks. He has played at the biggest clubs in Denmark (Gorgeous). He got his very popular monthly radio shows at DI.fm and ETN.fm and has appeared on a lot of famous guest slots like Markus Schulz's Global Dj Broadcast, Above & Beyonds Trance Around The World, and Blank&Jones Njoy show, just to name a few. Recently, Niklas has been leaving his mark on the international scene as well, rocking parties in Russia, UK, Turkey, Canada, Holland, Czech Rep, Norway, and Sweden to name a few. Also spinning at Ministry Of Sound, Amnesia (Ibiza) and Slinky events.

So do not expect him or the crowd to stand still, while jumping into the journey of music.

This weeks guestmix comes from a great friend of Matias and a really talanted upcoming DJ "Chris Allen" exclusive for Nordic Moments.

Chris began his DJ career with house parties and school dances for a few hundred people. Originally working off his computer with quite a rugged setup, he still caught the fever of performance. While building his library and continuing with small performances, Chris focused on school and his future as a Graphic Designer/Animator. Through the persuasion of his friends who have enjoyed his private mixes through the years, he began to start diving into the scene and getting more and more involved in the music than before.

Originally partnering up with local DJ, Kandaio to learn and hone his skills as a DJ, he had the opportunity to assist in Kandaios radio show that was broadcast worldwide on ETN.fm. Considered the shows Musical Director, Chris knowledge in the progression of music and different styles grew immensely. They also had the opportunity to interview such artists as Paul Oakenfold, Rank 1, Ferry Corsten, Dumonde, Mark Oliver, and many others.

Through the acclaim he received through his airtime on ETN, Chris then proceeded into the club scene playing at many local venues around London and Southwestern Ontario. Having played with many great DJs from around the area Chris is now finding his own niche and style in Electronic Dance Music.

This weeks guestmix comes from one of the leading trance producers out there today "Airbase" exclusive for Nordic Moments.

The Airbase story begins in 1994 with the obtaining of a music creation software pitched by a finnish cousin. The strive to improve brought the attention to a new software that all youngster producers should know of; Fast Tracker. During a few years in the late nineties, a huge amount of tracks was produced. With the first full time employment pay check early 2000 the first piece of hardware was bought, a Yamaha CS2x Control Synthesizer. With the aim to improve the sound and arrangements the choice landed on Cubase VST. For almost 2 years a vast number of tracks were produced. The lack of fundings and the inference that the Yamaha CS2x couldn’t any longer bring anything new to the productions, a fellow friend showed off the swedish software Propellerheads Reason 1.0. In a few days the conversion was complete, and all time was now spent in Reason.

One of the first tracks to be produced in Reason was Airbase – Emotion, which caught the attention of the german label Alphabet City. The first contract was signed, and the track was released. During the time of promotion and mastering, a new Airbase single was produced, Genie. It was decided to go as the second release. While waiting for the Genie release, other labels were showing intrest in other tracks produced since the conversion, and all of a sudden the schedule was filled with remix assignments and other releases. Now there are signatures on contracts with labels such as Alphabet City, Armada, Platipus, Mondo Records, Kompressed Records, Gesture Music, Be Yourself Music and some others. Remixes has been done for high profile artists like Iio, Safri Duo, Matt Darey, Above & Beyond, Blank & Jones and Alex Morph, to mention a few. The brother co-operation First & Andre – Widescreen was also selected to be the Sensation White Belgium Edition Anthem of 2005 for the highy acclaimed label Be Yourself Music, formely known as the label of ID&T, which marks a great mile stone and provides alot of inspiration for the future.

With the releases came the requests for DJ bookings. A positive side effect since the intrest for DJ:ing rose already in college 1995-1996 with unlimited access to a DJ setup including both turntables, cd-players and a mixer. This far countries like England, Switzerland, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Holland, Belgium and many more has been visited. Lately also US promoters has shown intrested in bookings.

Producer, DJ & Label Manager; Mike Shiver has been one of the most talked-about upcoming talents over the last years.
Since breaking onto the scene in 2003 with one of the year's most exciting productions: 'Mike Shiver - Feelings (Lost Language)', Mike has worked with labels like Armada Music, Nebula Records, Euphonic Records, Lost Language and the list just goes on.

Maor Levi is a highly original up and coming producer hailing from Israel.
At the tender age of just 17 and after already releasing a track under the Pillow One alias on the Future Heroes 2 compilation via Lost Language, he now joines forces with Anjunabeats hot new label, Anjunadeep.
Producing since the age of 11 and inspired by the Tiesto Magik series, he took his unique style of trance on the internet. Garnering many reactions and taking onboard all the resources he could find, with the help of fruityloops he honed his skills to the point where labels started taking him seriously.
Even though he's still relatively new, his name has already become well known in the trance community with his distinctive sound.
The first release Lital in January 2006 helps opens up the Anjunadeep world with a rich atmospheric dark stutter-vocal fuelled trancer thats being supported by the likes of Markus Schulz and Armin Van Buuren.

Just wanted to drop by and say hi to everyone here at party107.

I'm starting my brand new show "Nordic Moments" next week
here @ party107. With a guestmix from "Sonicvibe"!

The first hour will be my favourite house records and some pure summervibe trance tunes. So don't forget to tune in and show some love!=)
