Today's guest is Chris "Macker" MacDonald, producer and DJ from Gloucester who's earning some recognition for his ambient mixes of trance tunes for the likes of F & W Records. Make no mistake, though, this mix is pure trance.

Hello again, folks.

Another bit of bad news. Orginally, the episode on Dec. 18th was supposed to feature Kimito Lopez as a guest mix. Unfortunately, for the second show in a row I will have to postpone this guest mix indefinitely.

I'm not happy either, but that's the breaks, I guess. I know Kimito is very busy after recently completing a move and I've had recent communication problems. Hopefully we'll get him to join us real soon, he is definitely one of my favorite trance artists of the moment and I would be more than happy to have him join us

Instead, you'll get 2 hours of me. Hope that's ok

Red River Melodies / Red River Melodies Episode 012

Yes, I realize I'm a few days early.

Just to make sure everyone is aware, the next episode of Red River Melodies, Ep. 012, will be at a special time, two hours earlier than normal  (8-10 AM EST, 1-3 PM GMT). It will also feature one of trance music's most influential producers of this day and age, Jonas Steur!

Jonas has recently placed 130th in the DJ Mag poll, and will help Intuition Recordings celebrate the 100th episode of their radio show shortly! You've all heard Castamara, Tales From The South and his latest, the Second Turn/Sonrisa EP which has been caned by all the big guns. He also has an album coming up in early '07. I'm more than happy to have him guest mixing, and I hope you'll all be able to tune in
