Well, it has been a week since I went to Emporium.. but I promised to actually write a report... so im writing it now.

The lineup was fabulous, especially for me as a hardstyle fan; therefor I bought my ticket asap whenever they were available.

I went to the event at about 2 PM together with a friend of mine & a model... Therefor it started with Beholder & Ballistic for me, but the weather was just too good, so I 1st went to the beach and relax a bit in the water listening to the beats of Johan Gielen. He played Yves DeRuyter - Born Slippy and some other tunes which were quite nice Well, the weather looked a bit shitty at one point so I went back to the hardstyle area (which was a tent) listening to the beats of Deepack. LoL those guys are just extreme nutters.. cant descibe how nuts they are Playing a few tunes by themselves and some new tunes by Italian DJ "Activator" (aka Megaphone, Manuel Es, Alien Pulse, Knockout, DJ Smok, Spy-Kore, Ultrasonic and Tamok).

After that Showtek (Duro & Walt) were on the wheels of steel playing for only 30 min but LIVE, that means no Vinyl but all live produced... which was a real nice experience, they surtainly rocked the area

After that Dana (our national pride) was spinning the famous kinda 'hit' hardstyle tunes, which was just what I needed at that point. Lovely spun by our Queen of Hardstyle She absolutely made my day.

Max B Grant was on after Dana, ive got respect for this man. He played lots of Italian hardstyle tunes like Commander & No Good 2005. Really nice combined with wild scratches!

After that Super Marco May was on the wheels of steel playing some typical italian stuff as well. But didnt see much of him because I was outside getting some drinks & food (btw... 3 euros for fries ! ...expensive... and not even with sauce ->out of sauce lol)..

After that the "Anthem" of Emporium together with a small set by "Equinoxx" & "DJ Michael" (Matrixx residents).

After that Pavo was on the decks, playing really nice tunes... especially "Zany vs Pavo - Orgazmo" was really nice & hard pounding!

After that my personal hero Technoboy was on the decks... spinning the new "Speedwave" at 1st and after that only his own italian productions... SO LOVELY... I absolutely went wild on this DJ ... man... lovely ... playing Tuneboy - Money Talks Bullshit Walks and some other 'classics' imo... really nice..

After that Darkraver booming some hardcore in the tent. Playing Menace to Society - Chronic Disorder which was really appreciated by the crowd. But I only could see him for about 30 min because I had to go catch the last train towards home. Fireworks at the end on the beach was absolutely amazing! really nice.

Conclusion:

Crowd; Lovely Crowd! Cant say anything wrong about them, no argue anywhere or anything. 9/10
Food/Drinks; Too bad at 1 point they were out of sauce & beer. Beer came though but the sauce didnt. they could have organised that better. 5/10
DJs; Lovely DJs, absolutely the best names you can get for all styles imo. (Talking about the Main & Hardstyle Area atm) 9/10
Weather; Lovely weather for this afternoon. Sunny... Beach... Music... Lasers... Hot Chicks... What else do you want? 10/10
Location; Good location. Cant say anything wrong about it basicly. 9/10

Absolutely had a blast there. And I hope the next Emporium will be just as good ! See you next year!

Yesh Yesh what a night, damn.. I really enjoyed myself ... let me write a little report.

The whole idea of Hardbass is 2 DJs or even 4 DJs battleing against each other, I really like this kind of DJing as the DJs must be quite skilled to perform like this. They have to know when to mix their tunes in and not to just play by your own; this requires teamwork.

Well lets start off with how I got there

The party started at about 10 PM, so I went towards "Zoetermeer" at about 8 PM from my home. With a little stop at "Utrecht Centraal" (NL's central point for all traintraffic) to drop some laundry we went straight towards "Zoetermeer". We arrived in "Zoetermeer" at about 10:30; we took the bus to the event and arrived at the "Silverdome" at about 11 PM.

No problems with the security *THANK GOD* just clean checks for drugs, which some people hid in their boxers (they wont check there ).

Anyways, we were inside the "Silverdome" at 11 PM and the Ruthless VS Greg C were spinning, I didnt really dig this cos we were not really coming for these DJs to be honest. They were playing Jumpstyle which I dont really dig that much hehe.

After that The Prophet VS Gizmo were on the wheels of steel, they played nice fast music and some hardstyle inbetween. Digged it at first but at the end it became more Gizmo style (fast hardcore kinda sound) which I dont really adore.

After that Pavo VS Max B. Grant came on stage. MAN! What a set, they really are such good scratchers! Max B. Grant played a remix of "My Baby Shot Me Down" which I really want! really need an ID on that one.
But Max was playing fast italian hardstyle which was JUST the right tempo, and Pavo putting the old dutch hardstyle records on and scratching to it as a wicked monkeh :x, at some point there was some tune where they were both scratching too... Really neat!

after Max & Pavo Luna VS Technoboy came on stage, and yes a wonderfull set again.. Technoboy playing a lot of new releases which really were good Though Luna was good as well but I had the feeling Technoboy was playing way more records than Luna was... But all those new releases are just so good, really neat.

Deepack VS Showtek were after and playing good tunes and lots of new 2005 mixes, such as Heres Johnny 2005 and Just Begun 2005 mix. They were MCing to each other too lol that was funny... "Hey Showtek, are you like ehm... gay ?" really nutcases. Both Deepack & Showtek have 2 members so they were DJing with 4 DJs at 1 point... I really digged it!
Showtek = Walt + Duro btw.

After that all hell broke loose Paul Elstak VS Nosferatu were just too much lol, BOOM BOOM BOOM ... lots of familiar tunes like Hardcore Champions, Thrillseekah & Braincracking. And of course the familiar voice "ITS MY BEAT BOOM BOOM BOOM" yeah, the last energy I had was pumped out of my system hehe...

Atmosphere: 8 (Good audience, of course lots of the people had drugs in their system... even saw people sniffin' up some cocaine... but hey, no real fighting people or so.)
Location: 7 (Good place for a party, but not the ultimate)
Decoration: 8 (Lasers and decoration were fab! Especially the big disco ball in the center.)
Sound: 10 (No flaw in the sound system! Really Loud sound)
Toilets: 5 (They were a bit dirty and u had to pay 50 cent for it, guess that is something that fits together -> dirty & 50 cent )
Security: 7 ( Good drug checks, and wallet inspection.)

Really enjoyed myself, hope u had fun reading this report! Excuse me if my english was a little bit shitty at some parts, I am still a bit sleepy
