We welcome another new name to nu-depth recordings, and it's a name you sure to hear a lot more of in the future. Daniel Costache hasn't been producing for that long under his Waterspark alias but with productions like this he is sure to get noticed very quickly.
His track 'Lego' is the perfect opener for any trance set, with the melody opening things up on its own, the track soon bursts into live with a hypnotic groove and electrifying bass. The breakdown is one of the most well constructed we've ever heard and received plaudits from the remixers involved. This is one track that will keep you sucked in right until the very end as it's that damn interesting and beautifully made.
With the remixes it's a great pleasure to have on board three artists who are making plenty of noise on the scene. Andy Blueman of Perceptive Recordings gets things rolling, and we couldn't have thought of anyone better to add an emotional and uplifting feel to this track but still giving enough energy to keep the floor rocking.
With releases on Discover Dark and Kill The Lights, Gary Maguire is another man from Ireland who is showing how Trance should be done. Here he steps away from his more banging techy sound, and instead goes for a more progressive, uplifting sound that still packs plenty of punch and includes his trademark sounds and an extremely catchy bassline.
Last up is Dave Horne, after his debut on nu-depth digital we just knew we had to get his Progressive House sound on this release. Here he doesn't let us down one bit, throwing in a bit of an electro mood but still adding distinctive stabs of the original track to keep the mood uplifting. Watch this guy go in 2009!

With nu-depth digital up and running thanks to Dave Horne Meets Econu's 'Moments' we now welcome a rising star to the trance scene. Anderson Luis Montalvao hails from Brazil and under his Sunset alias provides the beautiful and uplifting journey that is 'Skydiver', which marks nu-depth digital's second release. With lovely plucks, a lush melody and a driving bassline this track will get any trance floor moving. Throw in a couple of well executed effects and we are truly on the way for a memorable journey of uplifting sounds. This is the first offering from Sunset on nu-depth and it definitely won't be the last either!

Starting the ball rolling on the remixes is another new artist to nu-depth; here Luke Terry delivers the goods with a warm, feel good remix under his Captured Sun guise. Here he takes 'Skydiver' down a couple of notches on the bpm but still he keeps the gorgeous, uplifting feel of the track throwing in some of his own pads and soft plucks. With a track forthcoming on nu-depth recordings at the end of the summer this guy is certainly starting to make more noise on the trance circuit yet again.
Joining him on the remix is a familiar face to nu-depth; we welcome back Amplified resident AJ Hutch. After his impressive version of 'Liquidity', we just knew we had to get this boy back for more action, and he certainly doesn't let us down. Here AJ Hutch adds his own take on the breakdown, giving it a pluckier and paused approach and a generally harder groove. This is the toughest of the all the mixes, we'll let you decide which one is best though... Good luck as we couldn't decide!!!

Pawel Meller otherwise known as Paul Miller has really taken the Trance scene with a bang the last 12 months, and after his impressive builder 'Turn On' alongside Michael Mystica and of course his Contraption Remix of 'The Unit' we gladly welcome him back to nu-depth recordings under his Motion Blur alias with another Euphoric gem in the form of 'Liquidity'.
This is trademark Miller right from the start with his aggressive kick and percussions layered to suit the affectious melody that soon comes into play. The energy given is on the same tip as 'Turn On' and the outcome is very much the same too; it leaves you wanting more and more!
On the Remixes we welcome two new artists to nu-depth, first up is Michael Dow who had the Armin Van Buuren caned 'Ascent' on Captivating Sounds a couple of years back, with regular input also on Lee Haslam's Digital Remedy, this guy is no stranger to the scene at all. Here he takes 'liquidity' down a groovier and progressive route, teasing us with a big intro before unleashing the melody onto us. This is Balearic sounding Trance from a promising artist. Next is one of the promising stars on the horizon and is a name to keep an eye out for in 2009. Suncatcher has really taken the Trance scene by storm the last few months and here he takes the elements of the original, and makes it into a big uplifting piece with plenty of warm moments, but still giving enough energy to rock the floor. After his 'Small World' outing on nu-depth, AJ Hutch delves into his tough, euphoric bag for a solid remix that is the harder choice of the four versions but he too keeps true to the original, just adding his trademark effects and sounds around the main lead.
This keeps the nu-depth ball rolling for the time being, but expect more material in the next few months from some exciting artists on the Trance circuit.

Fast Distance are quickly making a name for themselves on the trance market as this year Franz Hlusek and Olivier Picart have seen their work reach the likes of Armin Van Buuren, DJ Tiesto, Above & Beyond and Radio One's Judge Jules. They've already set their tone well on nu-depth with their excellent take on Paul Miller & Michael Mystica's 'Turn On'.
Here they land on nu-depth recordings with their debut outing with the steady, melodic effort 'Point Break'. This again shows why their lush sound has already been captured on labels such as Monster Tunes, Enhanced and Alter Ego.
The well constructed Original Mix is backed with three solid and varied mixes from no strangers to the trance scene. Starting the ball rolling is Onova, who rocketed onto the scene last year with the heavyweight cut 'Platitude'. Here he adds his driving, euphoric sound with some cool effects that's sure to make this a peak time belter. For all you progressive trance heads, Frase takes us on a big bass workout that goes down Marcus Schulz territories still keeping the melody intact. Finishing this package off is Six Senses, who really makes it his own adding a cool melodic, driving edge. Again this guy is really hitting top form at the moment, so it was a pleasure to have him on board on this release.
We feel this is possibly one of our strongest and varied releases to date, I hope you guys agree!!!
