Marcel Grandt, hailing from Perth, currently pours a lot of his effort into Amon Vision, a trance label in Australia. GeRmAn (not to be confused with the many DJ Germans out there) worked hard to sign artists like Ryan, Static Blue, Vast-Vision, Ian Betts, Icone, Hawk, Santerna, Kamil Polner and Firestorm to single or remix duties with Amon.
Marcel started mixing and remixing in 2003, with a lot of his influence coming from the harder trance producers and DJs like Scot Project, Warp Brothers and Shokk. Since then he has picked turned to producing his own tracks along the lines of Carl B, Vast Vision, Static Blue, Tiesto and Sean Tyas.
Amon's first release, Static Blue - Fading Away, has already picked up huge support from Above & Beyond, John O'Callaghan, Aly & Fila, Ernesto & Bastian, John Askew, Jon O'Bir, Ronski Speed and tonnes of others, with remixes from Icone (Wim van Gelder) and Ian Betts. Future releases include Ryan - Symphonious, and famous Nordic producer, Hawk - Sun in My Eyes.
