It has been 6 months, but Red River Melodies is finally returning to the air!
For an event like this, it just wouldn't seem right for just a one hour episode. So I grabbed a few fantastic guests to kick this show off right!
Fakebeat (
http://www.myspace.com/sonnybonds) is a Dallas-based DJ/producer on System Recordings who runs the French Express blog (
http://www.french-express.com/) along with Blueshift, a former guest of the show. He has been playlisted by the likes of Deadmau5 and Nic Fanciulli and is clawing his way to the forefront of the french house/disco revivalist movement.
David Call (
http://www.myspace.com/davidcall) is a Columbus-based DJ/producer and a past guest who has been featured on Black Hole, System and Audio Logic Recordings. His productions have garnered the support of Markus Schulz, Blake Jarrell and Josh Gabriel, amongst others. Be ready for some electro-tinged progressive house, edgy yet melodic.
Kaeno (
http://www.djkaenow.com) is a Miami-based DJ/producer who has been the greatest friend that RRM has had since it began in 2006. His show, The Vanishing Point, began in 1999 and airs on Party107, SenseFM and Slinky.FM, and the associated podcast has reached tens of thousands of downloads. There was no way I was going to bring back RRM without having Kaeno as one of the first guests. His specialty? Edgy, full-on trance and tech-trance.
And then there's me. But since this is a special episode, I'l be doing a double-sized, 2 hour mix of some of my current favorites.
I hope you'll have a chance to tune in on Party107 (
http://www.party107.com). It will air on Wednesday, June 10th from 10 PM EST until roughly 3 AM.
