There's also a mammoth remix of it done by Airwave. A bit more proggy, but is absolutely titanic.

so now that some more time has passed, what are the new thoughts on track of the year?

I'm thinkin' in no particular order-

1.Bad Deal (DJ Remy & Roland Klinkenburg Mix)- Eye Wall

2.Air For Life (Mirco De Govia Mix)- Andy Moor, Above & Beyond

3.The Other Side (Martin Roth Mix)- Paul van Dyk ft. Wayne Jacks

4.Embrace (Orkidea vs. Super8 Mix)- DJ Orkidea

I'm kinda unsure about #4 getting as big and popular. but dang that track is sick. it's a little on the longer side but every second of it is great. there will probably be a couple more big tunes out soon, but seriously, this year has been kinda weak for trance I think. there have been some great tracks, don't get me wrong, but I'm thinking back to the yearmix 2004 on ASOT, and I just don't see as many hits like last year. there were soooo many great tracks. even armin was struggling for one of the episodes this year to come up with tracks.

The trance song of 2005 will be one of these three tunes....

A) Motorcycle - "Around You" (Gabriel & Dresden Remix)

B) Above & Beyond feat. Andy Moor - "Air For Life"

C) Matthew Adams pres. Stratosphere "Sunscape" (Alucard's Eagle In The Rain Remix)

You were possibly right a few months ago but what about brilliant
new tracks coming out in the next few months, like 'First time'
'Its time' 'Dirty Sanchez' yes I know some have been released before
but surely we include them back in when they are remixed, dont we?

If we dont well I'm wrong, sorry, but they were 3 great tracks
you selected. Great stuff

"First Time" is great. Really enjoy that track :headbang:

One of my favorites now is: Ronski Speed and Sebastian Stone - Sole Survivor (Ronski Speed Remix)
