The Gallery's critically acclaimed trance residency VACCINEwelcomes
yet another world class collaboration in the shape of Galaxy FM's Nu Breed
for a very special night on Friday May 11th.

In true VACCINE and Nu Breed style the lineup spans the entirety of
the trance scene taking in London debuts, European talent, home-grown
producers and world-class residents.

Fresh from their epic first birthday in February and collaborations with
Black Hole Recordings and Discover (Recoverworld) as well as UK debuts for
the likes of Bart Claessen and Richard Durand in April, VACCINE
continues to set the pace others follow in new trance talent and cutting
edge lineups.

With this ethos in mind the opportunity to work with not only with Riley
and Durrant
but also Galaxy FM and its commitment to supporting
new talent, especially through its Nu Breed show broadcast weekly on
Thursday nights from 11pm, could not be missed.

Nick Riley and Andi Durrant are well known to clubbers as residents for
super club Gatecrasher in its spiritual Sheffield home. A full DJ diary sees
them playing across the world from Russia, Asia, Europe and the USA. They
regularly rock clubs like Cream, Godskitchen, Slinky, Passion, Goodgreef,
Judgement Sunday and Gatecrasher and their diverse musical style means
you'll see them playing alongside Tiesto, Van Dyk and Sasha as often as
Morillo, Prydz and Tong. They've played 20,000 strong arena sets from
Manchester to Siberia and St Petersburg, and rocked festivals including
Creamfields, HiFi and Fort Dance.

In 2004 Riley and Durrant launched the Nu Breed radio show on Galaxy
FM to showcase the underground, unsigned and unheard of electronic music.
Since its launch the show has helped launch the careers of some of Britain's
most exciting new  talent. Alongside Andi\'s other 2 programs (Galaxy's
flagship Saturday "Warm-up" show and the Big Night In), and their worldwide
syndicated Nu Breed Global program, Riley & Durrant reach more than half a
million people a week.

Last year Andi and Nick took the decision to strip their sound back to
basics and as a result they spent the whole of 2006 locked in the studio
writing their debut artist album "Research & Development". Teaming up with a
range of talented singers, writers, musicians and engineers from musical
genres as varied as folk, indie, rock, house, minimal, trance and electro
the album hits the stores at the end of July on Newstate Records

"Research & Development" will be out at the end of July and the indie
/electronic monster "Hollow" with the uber-talented Gina Dootson will be the
first single, hitting the shops at the end of June.

Joining Riley and Durrant in the VACCINE room will be German
superstar in the making, Marc van Linden. Marc is a firm favourite
with trance fans everywhere and his new album 'My Way' has done more to add
weight to the considerable support shown by world number one dj, Paul van
Dyk who believes that he "is one of the hottest talents around at the
moment".

Label boss of his hugely successful Midway Records imprint and regular guest
at the worlds leading clubbing establishments including a hugely popular set
for VACCINE last September as well as appearances at the likes of
Gatecrasher, Ministry Of Sound, Goodgreef, Love-parade in Berlin, Womb in
Tokyo and Eden in Ibiza to name but a few, we are honoured to welcome back
Marc for another education.

Joining Mr van Linden on the VACCINE Technics and CDJ's will be one of the
hottest young trance producers and djs around, Sophie Sugar. Fresh
from shooting to our undivided attention with killer tracks such as 'Call of
Tomorrow' and 'Isis', Sophie has started 2007 with a bang including being
tipped as one to watch by Mixmag as well as seeing Armin van Buuren
personally snap up not one but three of her original productions for release
on his Armada imprint including the already huge 'Fallen Too Far'.

Goodgreef's newest talent Barry Connell joins the fray, originally
meant to guest for VACCINE last November. Through no fault of his own Barry
eventually gets round to showing the VACCINE faithful his unique blend of
tech, trance and deck trickery which has blown away everyone from VACCINE
resident The Viceroy at last years Love Leeds Festival to Judge Jules. Now a
regular at leading clubbing emporiums from Godskitchen to Inside Out to
Judgement Sunday in Ibiza, Barry jets in from his native Scotland and we
suggest you catch this superstar in the making whilst you still can.

VACCINE residents The Viceroy and Ben Beaton have forged huge
followings amongst the VACCINE faithful with their much anticipated monthly
sets and tireless pursuit of new talent. This month will be no different
with both residents returning to the VACCINE cockpit to guide the good ship
into harbour.

Already tipped by Riley and Durrant and the Nu Breed Show following his
appearance on the show late last year, 21 year old The Viceroy has just seen
his 'End Game' track on Flux Delux pick up support from the cream of the
crop including Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Above and Beyond, Sander van Doorn,
Markus Schulz and John OO Flemming to name but a few, look out for it's
release very soon.

Warming up for VACCINE is rising star Mike Harris who has been
steadily climbing through the ranks with his well crafted sets and tireless
enthusiasm. Not only will he be leading the audio assault by setting the
tone of the night, he will also be celebrating his first record produced
with rising star Acute being snapped up by leading trance label NOYS by Mike
Koglin.

A true lineup of Nu Breed in every sense of the word and meaning VACCINE
looks forward to welcoming another world class, cutting edge lineup of
djs to its home, showcased to the very best and most open minded clubbers
around.

RILEY & DURRANT INTERVIEW!

1. Hi guys, it seems like its been a very busy couple of years for
you guys, did you ever imagine you would be as succesful as you have been and is there anything left you would like to achieve in your dj/production
careers?

Nick: No! When I got into DJing it was never the plan to make a career out of it as I thought you never could! As time went by and things began to pick up I began to set myself goals, the first of which was to play at Gatecrasher, then to produce a track and then to DJ abroad. I had never planned to get a radio show or start writing music, it just sort of happened!

Andi: It was a bit different for me - I gambled on not going to university with all my mates and decided I'd make a go of DJing. Luckily it paid off. There's still loads a loads we want to achieve yet - we've
(hopefully) still got a lot to do yet, including getting our album out and
building on that. We're also working on a new live project/band

2. I see you have just finished your genre defying album 'Research
and development', how would you describe your new sound and what genres would you say you cover in your album?

Nick: Our new sound is just electronic dance music, I don't really like calling it that, but that's what it is! All of the tracks are unique
sounding, but they all have the same elements.. it has elements of house, trance, rock, folk and electro and some weird and wonderful bits in between

3. You have some massive gigs coming up in the diary, what are you
most excited about and are their any other exciting gigs in the pipeline?

Andi: We're really looking forward to playing at Amnesia again this year.. it's one of the best clubs in the world and the atmosphere is something else. We're also going to be doing some live and acoustic stuff with our co-writer and vocalist Gina Dootson in Ibiza and at some of the festivals towards the end of the summer.

4. Your sound has come along way since you first started producing,
what or who were your initial influences and have these influences changed as your sound has developed?

Nick: Early influences were M.I.K.E, Armin, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten as that was the sound we were heavily into at the time. As time has passed we have become more open to a broader spectrum of music and so have drawn influences from many different styles and producers from rock to electro to classical.

Andi: Through our Galaxy radio shows we've always played a really broad spectrum of electronic music, but it's only been over the last couple of years that the scene has allowed DJs to do the same out in clubs.. which is awesome.

5. I see you soon to launch your new Nu Breed Music Record Label,
how did this come about and what genres will you be covering on this label?

Andi: We get sent so much great unsigned music for the radio show that we
decided to set up a label to release it! Every month we get mountains of
incredibly well produced tracks from bedroom producers and people who
haven't had that elusive first break. We know from our own experience that when you start out it's difficult to get your music into the hands of the right DJs and record labels. People send their stuff to us because they know we'll listen to it, and get it straight on the radio if it's good enough

6. Your soon to be playing at Londons fastest rising trance party VACCINE, are you excited about this gig, will you be showcasing any new material and what can the VACCINE faithful expect from your set?

Andi: Of course we're looking forward to it! Turnmills is on of our
favourite places to play to, so we always like to make a night of it. Last
time we played I had food poisoning and had to go and sleep in the car
outside, so I'd going to make it up for it this time! We've got some tracks to play from the new album, and some of the music we've signed to our Nu Breed Music label.. expect the unexpected!

Quick-fire round

1. Name 3 of your all-time favourite producers?

The Prodigy, M.I.K.E, Hauswerks

2. Whats the biggest mistake youve made during a dj set?

Nick: Letting the record I was mixing out of finish before the mix!

Andi: Stopping the wrong track right at the good bit.

3. In your experience which clubs have the best atmosphere, Nothern
or Southern?

Nick: Even though I am from London, I am going to say Northern!

Andi: Good lad.

4. If you were Bill Clinton would you of said no to Monica
Lewinski?

Nick: Keep going!

Andi: Yes.. nothing wrong with a girl with some meat on.

5. If you were going into space for a year and could only take 3
things each what would they be?

Nick: My Wife, my baby daughter and an endless supply of pizza

Andi: My Girlfriend, My Dogs, My Ipod.

6. And Finally, what in your opinion is the best trance tune ever
made?

Both: Push, The Legacy
