Vital Radio 151 with Dj Hal and Dj Endgame

Hour 1: Dj Endgame
(Right Click, Save As)

In 2011 Endgame teamed up with fellow Dj David Akermanis to form the duo: Speedboats and Big Explosions. Their first single ‘Hazel Eyes’, laced with the vocals of Marcie, was picked up by System Recordings in New York. With the first track under their belt, the duo has been keeping busy both in the studio and on the decks.

Their first appearance as the mustached crime fighting team (also known as ‘Juan Sanchez’ and ‘The Bullet’) was at the Purple Room in Waterloo. They proved that experience counts as they rocked the dancefloor. Since then, ‘Speedboats and Big Explosions’ have appeared all over Toronto, playing their brand of funky, tech house and are always “Fighting Crime in Funky Times.”

This week’s resident mix slows down the tempo, and veers off Endgame’s usual musical path.  Get set for some thick, sleazy tunes in this Vital Radio Resident Mix!

Hour 2: Dj Hal
(Right Click, Save As)

Techno and House are both common place on his dance floor, carefully woven together in a fusion unique to Hal. He knows that it is essential to create an exotic and intoxicating blend of rhythms that defies the gravity of closed minds.

DJ Hals energy, and elation inducing turntable antics, are already spreading across Europe and America, and threatening to encompass the world. For it is his ability to mesmerise with his musical invasion of the senses, that is proving irresistible wherever he lands.

Unleashing a mind-blowing, hip-shaking, blend of techno funk and acid house, he is inspirational and somewhat sexy, whilst everything is stirred with a healthy dose of soul. He is a man on a mission, an Earth Odyssey with the sole intention to make you dance. You are advised to catch him if you can!

Hal has played at Festivals (Glastonbury, EXIT, Dance Valley) Clubs (The End, Space, Heaven, K4, Movida etc ..) Events (Basics, Spectrum, Carl Cox & Friends) and is resident at STEALTH
